White cement is applied in the whole spectrum of constructive work: manufacturing of color cements and concrete, bulk floors and terrasit floor tiles, white plaster mixes and scouring, cement-limy building solutions, various glutinous structures, artificial stone and brick, products of small architectural forms and decor elements etc.

Raw materials for manufacturing of white Portland cement are kaolin and a chalk (or limestone), which are different in the limited maintenance of painting oxides - iron and manganese oxides. As fuel in furnaces the mineral oil is applied that allows to exclude pollution clinker coal ashes. As iron forms flooded area-minerals, its absence causes necessity of rise in temperature of roasting. In some cases criolit is added as a flooded area-minerals in the furnace charge.

It is necessary to exclude the pollution by impurity of metal iron when grinding of raw furnace charge and clinker is in process. That is why when grinding instead of usual metal spheres nonmetallic grinding bodies (gravel) are applied. Also the grinding bodies made from nickel and molybdenum of alloys are applied. It makes grinding more expensive that along with use of more expensive raw materials makes white cement enough expensive.

Concrete made of white cement is often applied to facing of surfaces from usual concrete, thus it is necessary to give special attention to maintenance of reliable coupling between both types of concrete. For reception of appropriate color concrete made of white cement is usually produced from fat concrete mixes with the water cement relation no more than 0,4.
